A Bronze Age mass grave was discovered years ago near Wassenaar. Buried in this grave were women, men and children.
Some of them mortally wounded. Probably these people were killed simultaneously during a violent crime and then buried in one large mass grave. The man reconstructed had two large cuts from an axe or sword on his head, but here he is reconstructed in happier times.
The public named him Kars, an old, Dutch name.
